Nashua Pride Parade & Festival
Join us at the Nashua Pride Parade and Festival on June 21st! We are looking for people to march, decorate, set-up, tear-down, man our booth, and watch the parade from the lawn! While there is abundant joy in Pride celebrations, it is an important time of solidarity, support, and recognition of the fight for queer liberation that has been going on for generations and continues today. Churches in particular have played a terrible role in this oppression which has caused LGBTQIA+ people to shy away from us, making it doubly important for us to show up in full support and show that we are open and affirming not just in our words, but in our actions. We hope you will all join us in this important work.
We will be gathering in the parish hall after the 10AM service on 6/8 to paint the sheep that will be on our float, please join us for some crafts and fellowship! The schedule for Saturday the 21st will be as follows. Please join us for whatever you are able! SIGN UP HERE
10:00 AM Float decorating in church parking lot
12:00 PM Table set-up at library parking lot
2:00 PM Parade marchers gather behind City Hall
3:00 PM Parade on Main Street- if you aren't marching please watch from our lawn!
3:00-6:00 PM Festival in library parking lot
6:00 PM Table tear-down

Contemplative Prayer and Brown Bag Lunch and Book Study
Every Monday at 11:30am we will gather in the sanctuary of the Church for a half hour of quiet Contemplative Prayer. We'll follow our prayer time with Book Study and brown bag lunch.
All are welcome to join!
Contemplative prayer is a practice of centering yourself in prayer and opening to God's presence. After Prayer we will move to the Lounge for lunch and book discussion. We will be reading books that deepen our spiritual journey and challenge us to broaden our theological understanding.
You may join us for both, or come just for prayer or for book study. If you come to the book study, feel free to bring a lunch. Our current book is The Only Necessary Thing: Living a Prayerful Life by Henri J.M . Nouwen.
I hope to see you there! Pastor Kathy

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Join us the first and third Mondays from 10am-11am (Sep-Jun) in the CGS Lounge for knitting and conversation as we create prayer shawls for CGS and the wider community. Contact Jane Wilkins 603-494-9012 or janewilkins2018@gmail.com
