Soup and Seminars
Dinner at 6:00 PM, Seminar from 6:30 – 7:30 PM.
 
For four (4) Wednesdays in Lent our topic of discussion will be “Mindfulness.” After enjoying a good soup or two we will be engaged in a presentation and a short discussion afterwards. Led by Pastor Alanna.

INQUIRERS’ CLASS

SATURDAY MARCH 22nd AND MARCH 29th

 
9:00AM – 12:00 Noon
Sign up on the bulletin board or by calling the church office. Deepen your knowledge of your faith, religion and the Episcopal Church. There will be two sessions taught by Pastor Odie on Saturday March 22nd and 29th, from 9 am – 12 noon each day.  The class is considered adequate preparation for anyone desiring to be confirmed or received in the Episcopal Church when the Bishop comes for Confirmation on June 8th.
 
Commit yourself to experiencing a meaningful Lent
by taking advantage of these programs and
worship services of our church.
 
A Lenten discipline of both self-sacrifice
and mindful action can help us
better understand and participate in

Maundy Thursday

6:00 pm - FOLK EUCHARIST AND LAMB SUPPER 
The service concludes with a procession into the “Garden of Gethsemane” for the stripping of the Chancel and Altar.  Tickets go on sale for the Lamb Supper three weeks prior, and are $8 per person. Bring you Lenten offering envelopes as your offering for this service.
 
MUSICIANS/SINGERS - We are looking for voices and instruments (guitar, harmonica, flute, trumpet, violin, tambourine, etc.) to help lead this service. Contact Pastor Odie and come a little early!
 
VIGIL - 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm
             “Could you not watch with me one hour?”
              Following the stripping of the altar the Church will be open until 10:00 pm for reflection and prayer.  Call the office or sign up on the bulletin
       board in the parish hall auditorium.
 
 

Good Friday

12:00 pm   One hour Ecumenical Service featuring as guest preacher, The Father Michael Kerter, from the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church.
 
7:00 pm  Solemn Liturgy for Good Friday with Holy Eucharist from the reserved Sacrament.  This includes a dramatic sermon presentation by Pastor Odie of "What Jesus was thinking when he hung on the cross." Music with the Senior Choirs and Organ.
