Emergencies and Crisis Counseling – Our clergy are available for consultation regarding any emergency or crisis at any time. They are willing to set up a meeting at a time mutually agreed upon. Pastor Odie can be reached at any time through the church secretary or the church answering service at 882-5352.

Short Term Counseling – The clergy are trained to do short term crisis counseling (1-6 sessions, depending upon circumstances). During these sessions it may be determined that more counseling would be appropriate. In such cases the clergy will assist in referring you to qualified counselors and therapists they respect and know. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the church office and may be for individuals, couples or families.

Long Term Counseling – Pastor Odie has a Doctor of Ministry degree in psychotherapy and is a nationally certified psychotherapist trained to do long term counseling and therapy with individuals, couples or families. He has been a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors since 1982. However, due to time constraints, the only availability he has for this type of counseling is during weekday mornings. If it is determined after an initial consultation that this form of counseling is appropriate and if it cannot be scheduled with Pastor Odie he may refer you to another qualified therapist he knows and respects.
